The second iteration of the Web site also allows Davinci’s 600-plus Preferred Partner Centers to manage their meeting space inventory even more efficiently via a newly designed interactive back end.
“We are very excited to publish the next version of our online meeting space reservation platform and serve a fast growing market with a technically sound and advanced solution,” says Bill Grodnik, president and CEO of Davinci Virtual. “This new version of our platform will help drive additional revenue streams to Davinci Preferred Partner Centers.”

I think the second iteration is great. You can book a meeting room online within minutes. Very user-friendly interface. If you don’t understand how to navigate the meeting room system, Davinci offers you help quick. This is true real-time availability because it all feeds into the main computer database. That means no double-booking surprises.

Davinci doesn’t own all these meeting rooms, does it? This looks like a network for which Davinci put together an innovative booking system. This reminds me of the travel industry, how they put this together. It’s a very nice presentation, easy to use, fast…I’m not sure what the difference is between this new presentation and the one that came before it, though.

I think the new meeting rooms reservation site from Davinci does make it easier and faster to book meeting rooms. It sounds like most of the improvements are targeted to the back end so meeting room providers can have better access and more transparency. But that ultimately results in better service to folks looking for meeting rooms. Nicely done!

Meeting rooms are invaluable for home-based businesses that need to hold presentations. You can only do so much at a restaurant during lunch. Sometimes you need to show a PPT on a large screen, use video conferencing functions or some other tool that is part and parcel of professional office. Meeting rooms are a godsend to many entrepreneurs, many of whom probably also use virtual offices.
