Davinci Virtual Nominated in BCA Industry Awards 2009
Published August 26th, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
The executive office suites industry celebrated this week when two of its major players — Sunshine Realty Management and Corporate Suites Business Centers landed on the Inc. 5000 list. Now, the virtual office industry has reason of its own to celebrate: Davinci Virtual has been nominated for a Business Centre Association (bca) award.
“We are delighted to be members of the bca and support all the great work that they do in setting a consistently high standard across the industry,” says Steve Golding, Davinci’s General Manager in the UK.
“Being recognized by our customers and peers within the industry and receiving Nominations for a bca award certainly is a great honor. These nominations are as a direct result of all the hard work, innovation, dedication and focus that the team has put in over the past 12 months.”
A number of Davinci Virtual’s customers suggested the company for the Trade Supplier of the year for 2009. Davinci Virtual offers back office support to over 4,500 businesses across the U.S., Canada and Central America. Even if Davinci Virtual doesn’t win, the nomination itself is an honor. This is the virtual office provider’s first year as a bca member and Davinci Virtual just launched its virtual office package to businesses in the UK in 2009.
Davinci delivers virtual office space services and boasts over 650 global virtual office locations with access to meeting and conference rooms, and support facilities.
The bca is the only trade association in the United Kingdom representing the business centre and managed workspace industry. It was founded in 1989, long before the virtual office industry gained the visibility it enjoys today. The bca offers support and guidance to owners and operators of centres, while setting industry standards and encouraging a network of excellence.
Will Davinci Virtual claim the prize? We’ll have to wait until the official award ceremony on November 27. aBetterOffice.com wishes all the best to Davinci Virtual and the other companies that are nominated for bca awards this year. Keep up the good work!

How many of these executive office suites industry associations are there? I had never heard of this one. Does each country have one as well? Anyway, Davinci Virtual has made a huge impact on the UK, from what I understand, and in a very short time period. So congrats to Davinci Viritual for turning the virtual office world upside down in the UK.

I read somewhere recently that in Europe, they are even heavier into work-life balance than we are here in the U.S. I also know the move toward serviced offices and virtual offices started earlier there. I am not sure what took Davinci Virtual so long to invade London and start its revolution — but I bet they are glad they did. Looks like the progress is outstanding.

Looks like the bca has been around for quite some time — since 1989. That says a lot about how the strength of the serviced office space industry in the UK. It’s interesting how Europe is typically so far ahead of us in fashion, music — and now office space trends. I wish Davinci Virtual the best in the contest. Would like to know who else is on the list.

Davinci Virtual just proved that being late to the game doesn’t count you out. There are other companies in the virtual office space that have been around for much longer, yet Davinci has really taken the industry by storm in the last few years. The name is well known now on at least two continents. It will be interesting to see if Davinci can take home the prize in its first year in that market.

I see they are nominated for a supplier prize so they are not competing with any other virtual office service providers but telecoms and IT companies. Good PR out of context though
