Torrance Office Center Touts ‘Highly Customized’ Executive Suites in LA
Published March 26th, 2010 by Jennifer LeClaire
Torrance Office Center is reaching deeper into the Southern California serviced office market with its newest executive suits facility in Los Angeles. The company is targeting “the ever expanding network of entrepreneurs choosing to systematize and advance the portion of their business by integrating the highly customizable executive suites.”
What does Torrance Office Center mean by ‘highly customizable’ executive suites? I thought you might wonder that, too. The company promises a wide variety of office spaces to choose from. Beyond that, it’s difficult to discern in what ways the spaces can be customized. Given that ‘highly customizable’ is communicated as a differentiating factor in the marketing of its newest facility, I expected a stronger explanation from the company. The web site doesn’t explain either.
Here’s what Rowena Pascual, the manager at Torrance Office Center, said about the new facility: “We are committed to provide our customers a world-class service integrated with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Our company provides customers with information, support and advice regarding their office space purchase; guaranteeing customer satisfaction with the company’s competitive pricing.”
Here’s what we do know: Torrance Office Center is well equipped with amenities such as Internet access and digital T-1 phone communications. You also get a business lounge, an on-site gym, 24/7 card access, free parking and plenty of other perks. And forget about lease. Like many of its regional serviced office competitors, Torrance Office Center lets you rent office space on a month-to-month basis using your credit card.

I think Torrance Office Center sounds like a really cool project, especially with the on-site gym. This goes to show you how important it is to locate in the right building. If you want to offer really cool amenities, like on-site restaurants and gyms, then you have to choose the right building because not every office building offers that. Torrance Office Center seems like a smart company in the serviced office space.

I don’t know what they mean by highly customizable either. They probably just mean that you can move to a larger size office space if you want to without any contract strings attached. I can’t imagine a serviced office center letting clients without leases do much customization to the actual office space itself because they’d have to rebuild it out for the next client who doesn’t like the configuration.
