Stark Business Solutions Aligns with Rockefeller Group

Let the strategic alliances begin. Earlier this year, I suggested that the economic crisis was setting the stage for strategic alliances in the serviced office industry. That’s beginning to happen now as economic development organizations align with coalitions of office space providers, serviced office giants align with travel partners and, now, Stark Business Solutions (SBS) entering into a strategic alliance with Rockefeller Group Business Centers (RGBC).
Looking for office space in the New York City area?
SBC is known for its premium, turn-key office solutions in Westchester County. RGBC is known for its professionally-staffed, tech-savvy business center facilities in and San Jose, California. Thanks to a smart partnership agreement, the clients of both business centers can freely enjoy access to the serviced office space under the SBS and RGBC flags across the Big Apple.
“Today’s economic climate requires creativity to meet the changing needs of our clients and the business community at large,” says SBS President Adam Stark. “This partnership will enable clients to conduct their business in Manhattan while continuing to maintain their Westchester County presence. Reciprocally, RGBC’s clients can expand their business reach to Westchester County while still maintaining their Manhattan presence.”
Smart Serviced Office Business
This is smart business because it doesn’t cannibalize either brand. Rather, this alliance extends the reach of both executive office suite companies. Instead of competing with each other, SBS and RGBC are joining forces to offer a broader reach without the need to expand into new areas of Manhattan in a down economy. This is what strategic alliances are all about – adding value to the end user. The SBS-RGBC alliance is a model for others in the executive office space industry.
Howard Watler, RBGC vice president, notes that both organizations’ clients will benefit from the additional address options. “Our commitment to the success of our clients means that we continually seek out value-added services for them,” he says. “This partnership provides additional growth opportunities for both RGBC and Stark Business Solutions clients.”
Stark Business Solutions operates the SBS Suites in White Plains, Mount Kisco, Harrison and Scarsdale, which recently opened. In all, SBS occupies more than 55,000-square-feet of office space in premium locations throughout the county. RGBC has two business centers in Manhattan. They measure a total of 70,000 square feet. Although SBS clients only get two more sites to choose from, but they are in the city as opposed to outside the city. That’s a huge boon.
SBS’s Strategic Moves
This is not the first strategic alliance SBS has inked. SBC recently partnered with Intelligent Office of Garden City for a similar deal. The company seems poised to leverage relationships with other serviced office providers where all can benefit.
Intelligent Office, which was named Long Island’s Best Executive Suite Company in a poll conducted by Long Island Business News in 2007, is located in close proximity to the Long Island courthouses. That gives SBS clients yet another strategic location from which to do business.
Where will SBS strike next? Will it join the Coalition of Office Space Providers and get in on the move to help the financial services sector in New York City? Will it partner with a coworking facility to offer its clients maximum flexibility? Will it expand its own business model to offer new types of alternative office space? Keep a close eye on SBS, especially if you are a client. You might be pleasantly surprised with what comes next.
