St. Rose Executive Suites Taps Social Media Marketing

At St. Rose, the “lights are always on.”
Las Vegas-based St. Rose Executive Suites is making a publicity push to close out 2008 and seems poised to leverage social media marketing in 2009 and beyond.
In its latest search engine optimized press release, the company says it’s different from most Class A Las Vegas executive suites and virtual office facilities. That got my attention. Just how is St. Rose different?
No Hidden Charges
Well, as this serviced office company sees it, the difference lies in hidden charges. St. Rose says it does not have additional charges for telephones, Internet access or conference room uses and dares would-be serviced office users to compare its included services with its competitors in Las Vegas, Henderson and Clark County.
St. Rose is certain that office renters will find its “all inclusive” solution is the most cost-effective in the marketplace. St. Rose has two different packages: an executive suite package and a virtual office package.
The executive suite package offers office renters a private office, a 12-seat conference room, two phone lines, voicemail with remote access, e-mail retrieval of voicemail, 500 minutes of long distance each month, 250 photocopies a month, a receptionist to greet your guests and answer your phone, water and coffee service, high-speed Internet access, mail sorting and forwarding, signage on your suite, and an on-site notary.
St. Rose also promises sweeping views of the valley and a prime location close to two major I-215 interchanges. That could be a major competitive advantage in and of itself.
Virtual Office Advantages?
On the virtual office front, St. Rose offers a local Las Vegas phone number answered during business hours in your company name, a local Las Vegas fax number forwarded to your e-mail, use of a conference room and day office, mail receipt at a professional address, a staffed pick up and drop off point, mail forwarding, and 24 hour voicemail capability.
St. Rose doesn’t list its prices on its website, but it does offer quick contact info and they are offering a special for one month of free service. The photos offer a glimpse of a very professional office building inside and out, and a master floor plan is also available on the site so you can see the options.
What I like about St. Rose, too, is its use of social media. St. Rose is a member of the leading social networking sites, including Flickr, Facebook, Google Sites, Mashable, Digg, Linked In, Twitter and MySpace. This company is really on the cutting-edge of Internet marketing, which should bode it well now and in the future.

That’s pretty cool to see an executive office suite provider really leveraging social media. With all the studies showing how entrepreneurs and small businesses are flocking to social networking sites, this could be a competitive advantage in the future. It’s still early in the game, but this serviced office provider is taking a proactive approach. I’d be interested to know how well it’s working for them.

I like the ‘all inclusive’ marketing tack for St. Rose Executive Offices. I think small businesses appreciate this approach, too. You know exactly what you get and when you get it, so there are no surprise charges or hidden fees. I’m not too familiar with the office rental market in Las Vegas, but St. Rose puts out a confident message why mobile professionals should consider its services.

All other things being equal, I suppose a view could be a competitive differentiator for a serviced office facility. Las Vegas does have some nice views. St. Rose Executive Offices has done a nice job in demonstrating its facility, with the floor plan, the photos, etc. That’s a major bonus for people who want to “see it” before they visit it.

St. Rose seems to have an attractive value proposition from the executive office suite and the virtual office side of the office rental equation. I imagine this Las Vegas facility is in high demand. I looked at the photos and it’s very professional. They do a good job showing and not just telling through all their social media efforts.

It seems most every serviced office operator has a virtual office component. I haven’t noticed a widespread difference between them. St. Rose seems to have the standard set up on the virtual office front. It would be interesting to see a virtual office provider come out with something groundbreaking. There certainly is room for something different in this space.

Like many executive office suite Web sites I’ve seen, St. Rose doesn’t list prices for its rentals. I can see the pros and cons of listing prices. On the downside, listing your office rental prices doesn’t leave room for negotiation.
Still, I think in the case of serviced offices — given the fact that these are low-cost alternatives to traditional offices — I would think that signaling some sort of price range might communicate the value without giving too much competitive information.
