Although the lower ranking workers may have been the first to go at many companies, there could be a wave of executive layoffs coming in 2010 if sectors of the economy don't recovery. It looks like the latest strategy is to hook up with recruiting and executive associations. What interests me most is why the other serviced office companies don't get on board with more alliances.
