Regus certainly is hitting the executive ranks hard. It's a strategy, as I see it, to reach displaced execs. Although the lower ranking workers may have been the first to go at many companies, there could be a wave of executive layoffs coming in 2010 if sectors of the economy don't recovery. Regus is positioning itself as the go-to company for office space and virtual offices with this group.

Regus is really knocking out these strategic alliances one after another. It looks like the latest strategy is to hook up with recruiting and executive associations. What interests me most is why the other serviced office companies don't get on board with more alliances. Regus is moving so fast in this area and it's going to pay off for them. Will the other brands be left behind?
