If I can print my files, fax some paperwork, plug in my laptop to tap into GoToMeeting and charge my phone, I'm happy. If I can get a replacement charger for the one I left in the hotel room, I'm happier. Regus should see plenty of traffic from its target audience of business travelers. I bet they are paying sky-high rent to bring serviced office centers to these airports -- pun intended. These business centers should see plenty of foot traffic. Like anything, the marketing will be important. I am guessing Concourse C must be the busiest at Seattle. Good news for business travelers who need office space on the go. At first, I thought this was the first one. I wonder, though, if Regus is taking on a burden in this economy by combining a consumer electronics retail outlet with a serviced office space? Perhaps business travelers are less affected... I mean, if you have an important conference call and your phone is lost or broken, you may have no choice but to buy a new one on the spot. As I see it, Regus has a built in audience at this location. I didn't know before now that Regus had these express serviced office centers in airports. I'd love to see a line item on Regus' earnings report to show how much revenue it gains from this mini serviced office space. It seems like a very strategic expansion strategy, but I wonder if it pays off through actual revenue or just branding.
