Regus Opens Serviced Office Center in Burlington, Mass.

The Regus Group isn’t slowing down for the Thanksgiving holiday. The global serviced office space provider just announced a new business center in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Regus’ latest executive suite facility boasts 43,000 square feet of space spanning two floors at 15 New England Executive Park. Regus inked an 11-year lease with Executive Office Properties, putting the company in a strategic position to build a loyal customer base in the Boston suburb.
But there is a bit of a twist to this announcement. Michael Berretta, vice president of Business Development for Regus, explains:
“We’re consolidating our two existing Burlington area locations into this new larger facility, which provides our clients with improved amenities in a great office setting. Our new center is part of a beautiful master-planned, Class-A office park with unparalleled amenities.”
New England Executive Park is a 10-building master-planned office park located about 12 miles northwest of downtown Boston on 56-acres totaling more than 1 million square foot of Class A office space. New England Executive Park is only minutes from Routes 128, 3 and 93. Park amenities include a fitness facility, restaurant, full-service bank, a Cyber Park which allows users to plug-in and work outdoors, conference facilities, and has 24-hour staffed security with after-hours patrols and card key access system.
“The investment in this new facility reaffirms our commitment to the Burlington market. We envision this new center as a business hub for the Route 128 area. The spacious center will attract a wide-cross section of businesses from surrounding communities,” Berretta says. “The center’s newly designed business lounge will be a great place for business travelers who need to remain productive while on the road to touchdown, check-mails or print documents.”

Very interesting. This is one of the reasons why Regus is so successful. They just don’t slow down. Even on a holiday, they are announcing new serviced office facilities. Looks like this one was a strategic move to consolidate into a better space to serve its executive suite customers more effectively. Burlington is a great location in the Boston area. So this is good to see.

Wow. Yet another facility opening. I would love to see Regus’ game plan for serviced office facility expansions in 2010. The company appears to be on a rampage, taking the opportunity while it can to ink long-term lease deals at discounted ranks. This is one way companies take over industries. Regus seems prepared to continue its aggressive push on all fronts in 2010.
