Congratulations to Regus. This really is quite an impressive one-two-three punch over the last few days. It’s great to see the company succeeding in this downturn. I am waiting to see what happens with the serviced office industry after the recession. Will it continue growing or will we see consolidation?

Sounds like a pretty high-tech suburb of Dayton. Lots of aerospace going on there. That means the types of companies that will probably want to us a Regus serviced office space are service firms, like solo law practitioners or accountants or designers. There’s probably a pretty significant service firm base there.

That’s interesting… a suburbs strategy. This fall is in line with something I heard the CEO saying a while back about there being a Regus serviced office on every corner. I usually think of Regus being in downtowns or city centers. Moving into the suburbs is a real service to entrepreneurs who don’t want to drive too far away from home but still want an office space outside the home.

Another opening? At this rate, Regus will hit the 2,000 serviced office center mark in three more years. While I don’t expect Regus to continue opening executive office suite projects every day, I do expect the company to keep pace this year to open several new facilities a month. Internationally, emerging markets may find value in a Regus operation.
