Office Evolution Opens New Executive Suites in Denver Suburb
Published October 14th, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
Who says cutting-edge serviced office space is only for New York and Los Angeles and other major metros? Office Evolution is busting that mindset with a new business center in Interlocken, a high tech business park in Broomfield, Colorado.
Where in the world is Broomfield, you ask? It’s a suburb of Denver and it’s got a strategic position in near the Mile High City that is undisputable. Interlocken is adjacent to the small business and high tech hotbeds of Boulder and Louisville and only 20 minutes from downtown Denver.
Office Evolution’s Interlocken business center is located in a Class A building with stunning views, abundant free parking and easy access to the Highway 36, the Boulder Turnpike and Highway 287. Office Evolutions latest office space spans 16,000 square feet and offers 52 private offices, three conference rooms, a kitchen, large work room.
Office Evolution has an eye toward growth in this strategic Broomfield location. The company has reserved the option to occupy the rest of the floor. That would increase the serviced office facility to 20,000 square feet with 80 offices, complete with day office space, virtual office services, executive office suites, and, of course, live answer telephone receptionists.
Office Evolution plans to open its newest location in Broomfield on Nov. 1, and pre-leasing is already underway. If you are familiar with the area, the exact location is 11001 West 120th Ave. The building that hosts Office Evolution is part of the El Dorado Ridge complex owned by Bluemont Properties and Catlin Properties.
The Broomfield site numbers Office Evolution’s executive suite complexes at 10. The growing serviced office company also has sites in Denver, Boulder-Pearl, Boulder-Walnut, Longmont, Highlands Ranch/Lone Tree, Lakewood/Golden, Centennial/Aurora, Louisville, and Littleton.
Office Evolution says it has invested heavily in the creation of a scalable and efficient infrastructure that allows it to add new locations quickly and then operate those locations very efficiently. The infrastructure includes an Avaya enterprise level telephone system, a web-based CRM and billing solution and a telephone answering platform all provided by leaders in their fields.

Office Evolution is a really neat company. I’ve read about their office space before. The company does have the latest high-tech bells and whistles and seems to have a knack for choosing good locations. Headquartered in Boulder, Office Evolution has showed smart growth by locating in Colorado cities like Denver, Littleton and Aurora. I can’t wait to see them branch out nationally.

Office Evolution has a great name and seems to be scooping up a lot of great locations in the Denver area. I don’t think Office Evolution, though, is the only serviced office facility in Interlocken. I think there is at least one other executive suite company there, if I recall. In any case, a high-tech business park like Interlocken probably has room for several serviced office space companies. Broomfield is an up and coming area.

It looks like Office Evolution is expecting to grow, with the option to lease an additional 4,000 square feet of office space. I think at this Broomfield location, Office Evolution’s growth depends, in part, on the growth of Interlocken. If all the parcels are built out and buildings occupied, there will be a greater need for support services like graphic design firms and accountants that can locate on site to serve those clients.

I wonder when Office Evolution is going to bust beyond the Colorado borders. The company says it has a “scalable and efficient infrastructure that allows it to add new locations quickly and then operate those locations very efficiently.” Key word: efficiency. If Office Evolution has this down pat, can we expect to see them launch into more high profile locations like New York, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, etc?
