Office Divvy Offers Free Coworking Office Space in Palm Coast
Published January 7th, 2010 by Jennifer LeClaire
The New Year’s promotions keep rolling in. I just found out about a free coworking office space offer in my general neck of the woods.
Office Divvy, a office space and virtual office solutions company in Palm Coast, Florida, is offering free coworking for the entire month of January. Office Divvy figures telecommuters, writers, designers, techies, and other entrepreneurs are the perfect fit for its coworking office space in Flagler County.
The free coworking space is available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Thursday. I can only guess that must be the company’s slowest window of business – and it’s a short one. Still, if you live and work in Flagler County and you’ve always wanted to try coworking, this is your chance to do so – gratis.
“We are proud to be providing free coworking in Palm Coast, Fla. Office Divvy is a small business hub for professionals, entrepreneurs, and start-ups in Palm Coast, Flagler County and beyond,” says Office Divvy co-founder and managing partner, Lisa Schenone Ekinci.
“We have the space and infrastructure including high speed internet, where you can change your environment for a few hours and get into your zone (your work zone that is). One key benefit is of course the organic networking that takes place when you meet other professionals.”
Here’s what you get as part of this free offer: a coworking space, free coffee, tea, water, soda and treats, high-speed wireless Internet access and the opportunity to network and collaborate with your fellow coworkers. Of course, Office Divvy is likely to give you a sales pitch while you are there. They are calling it a “meet and greet” with the staff. But again, if you want to try out the experience risk-free, this is your opportunity. Let us know how it goes.

This is cool. Office Divvy. The name just sounds cool. It sounds like this facility also has all the bases covered, with traditional offices, virtual offices and coworking. That’s perfect for clients who grow from one form of office space to the next. I think the freebie is too limited in its time span.

Office Divvy is a great brand name. I didn’t get it at first — you are dividing offices. I think anything that can drive traffic to an office project is a good thing. For as much as we see of this in the serviced office industry, I am really not sure why we don’t see more. It doesn’t take much to pull it off. I would be interested to hear how many people take Office Divvy up on their offer.

Thank you for the wonderful article, and those wonderful comments…
Actually, at Office Divvy ™ , we have coworking available over 50 hours a week. The free offer is for “Jelly Coworking” which sets aside a schedule of hours for coworking for any freelancer, and home-based professional and business owner in our community…
Quick report/update: The January “Jelly” has been very well received in our community. Most wonderful and intriguing people came out of their homes to do solo-work side by side with other professionals, and to collaborate, network, and have water-cooler conversations (yes, sometimes that’s what the work-at-home community misses)…
Due to the popularity and success of the program, we have extended the Free “Jelly Coworking” through February, every Wednesday from 3PM to 7PM.
Here is more on that from our blog:

If you are within proximity to Palm Coast and Flagler County, Florida, or ever find yourself in the area please drop in, we’d love to meet you.

I love coworking spaces. I always get distracted when trying to working from home.
Here in London I found a lovely coworking space called THECUBE (http://thecubelondon.com).
