Newport Office Center Launches E-Tenant Care
Published December 7th, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
If innovation is a key to succeeding in a down economy, Newport Office Center may have a leg up on some of its local competition. Newport Office Center, an executive suites provider with locations in Newport Beach, California, has rolled out a new service called E-Tenant Care.
Office space tenants can now tap into the power of the Web to access building information and submit service requests, including making online reservations for conference rooms and meeting rooms around the clock. With E-Tenant Care, tenants can even track the status of their request via e-mail. This is customer self-service at its best. All tenants have to do is register online to access the system
“Office suites and executive suites should be all managed precisely. We take care of every need of our client,” says Chanel Diaz, the finance controller at Newport Office Center. “We cannot be physically present with everybody therefore we have introduced the concept of E-Tenant care at our Newport Beach Office space. We have got amazing responses from our tenants and we promise that we will keep the good service continued for all our clients in future as well.”
Newport Office Center is positioning E-Tenant Care as a competitive differentiator, saying it is one of the few business centers that offer the service. Regus and Davinci Suites, among others, also provide this service, but it is not yet mainstream. Newport Office Center also offers a concierge service that lets tenants order flowers, booking vacations, schedule taxis and limos, car washes and catering services, and so on.
Located on Pacific Coast Highway in Mariners Mile and Restaurant Row in Newport Beach, California. Newport Office Center provides office space in a wide variety of offerings, day offices, single offices, and mini executive suites, which have three or four offices within one suite. Newport Office Center Executive Suites range in size from 120 square feet up to 1,500 square feet. with Courtyard and Harbor Views.

Is it really that uncommon in the serviced office industry to have e-services? It seems like in this day and age being able to book meeting rooms online should be a no-brainer. But then again looking at some of the web sites in the industry, I can believe that this would be a cutting-edge tool.

I think it’s a fairly sophisticated feature to be able to book services online. Newport Office Center should be congratulated. It’s probably quite an expense for a smaller operator to undertake. It looks like they only have one executive suites location, from what I can tell. So unless they have a guy in house with some great IT skills, this probably cost them a pretty penny to implement online book of meeting rooms.
