LEXINGTON, KY – Office Suites PLUS has officially entered the Hurricane Sandy philanthropy fray. The Lexington executive office suites provider – which is also the fifth largest office space provider in North America – is donating 25 cents to the Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Fund for every Facebook share during #GivingTuesday.
What is #GivingTuesday? #GivingTuesday is an initiative organized by a group of non-profits in hopes to give back to those in need. Although #GivingTuesday is officially over, Office Suites PLUS’s gesture is one more example of how the alternative workspace industry is rallying around the cause of displaced office space users.
Some serviced office space outfits, like BusinesSuites, are making space available. Other executive office suites providers, like Quest Workspaces, are donating 10 percent of the proceeds from serviced office space rentals to Hurricane Sandy-displaced workers to a relief fund.
Office Suites PLUS decided the idea of #GivingTuesday was a great way to redirect the energy from the post holiday shopping to a charitable cause. Some of the largest corporations and non-profits in the world supported #GivingTuesday.
