Jay Suites Planning New Executive Suites in New York City

Jay Suites is getting ready to open a new serviced office facility in Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. The new serviced office space will open Nov. 1.  We can get a pretty good glimpse of what the Rockefeller Center suites will look like by exploring Jay Suites’ other New York City serviced office locations at Grade Central and the Financial District.

Jay Suites bills itself as more than an executive business center. The growing executive suites firm promises to be their to support your business with a hand-picked team of trained, experienced staff. The serviced office space provider taps into the expertise of architects, contractors, designers, electricians and consultants to make its executive suites both accessible and attractive.

Jay Suites focuses on three elements at each of its locations: modern décor, cutting-edge technology and security and accessibility. Let’s look at each area as it relates to this New York-based provider of flexible, full-time luxury office space.

First, modern décor. As Jay Suites sees it, the significance of the first impression cannot be overstated. That’s why all Jay Suites locations feature high ceilings, elegant lighting, marble halls and Venetian plaster walls. Jay Suites conference rooms are equipped with glass-top tables and Italian leather chairs. To be sure, Jay Suites offers a clean, sleek, 21st century modern look that helps clients project the right image.

Next, cutting-edge technology. Jay Suites leverages digital environments. All Jay Suites packages include access to state-of-the-art equipment and services, such as high-speed Internet, Cisco VOIP telephone system, a next-generation copier, and conference rooms equipped with digital whiteboards and surround-sound systems.

Finally, security and accessibility.  Jay Suites sets out to offer safety without compromising productivity. The company accomplishes this with strategies that range from doorman-secured buildings to biometric access control entry and verification systems. What’s more, Jay Suites offers executive business centers in strategic New York locations just minutes from mass transit train and bus lines.

What about lease terms, start-up costs and monthly fees? In a nutshell, it will cost you about $4,300 to get into a Jay Suites serviced office unit. That includes a two-month security deposit. Monthly office rent runs $2,000 and everything above. And lease terms are as short as three months. For a location in the hot spots of New York, Jay Suites offers flexible terms and luxurious offices.

I was not familiar with Jay Suites, probably because they only have two locations in all of Manhattan. But reading about these executive suites makes me think I should have heard of them. Seems like luxury office space located in very strategic locations, for sure. This is impressive. I love it when serviced office companies lay out the specific costs of doing business. I bet there are a lot of people anticipating the Rockefeller Center office space.

I saw the start-up costs. I think $4.5k to get into office space in New York is pretty darn cheap. I bet it would cost $50,000 or more to get into an office space in Manhattan with regular leases — and that’s probably with a very long lease. Jay Suites is looks to be knocking the leather off the ball as it flies out of the park. I can’t wait to see what they do with the Rockefeller Center office location.

This does look like a pretty luxurious office set up. Being able to rent office space in New York City rather than signing long-term leases has to make serviced offices a very hot industry there. The costs are so high. It seems like for the average small to mid-sized business, executive suites woudl make the most sense in a place like Manhattan, and probably also places like Las Angeles and San Francisco.

I thought it was interesting how they collaborate with architects and engineers to build out their executive suites. With so much competition in Manhattan, this has to give Jay Suites some sort of stand-out quality. I mean, they aren’t just assuming a floor of office space in Rockefeller Center and doing a cookie cutter layout. They are taking the time to make these luxurious and unique. Nice going.

When we were searching the market for executive suites for 2 months, we ran into quite a few in the Grand Central. However, none of them came even close to the quality and friendliness of the staff at Jay Suites. Very impressive space with every amenity possible…We also visited spaces at Regus – which were decent but way over-priced for this market. Highly recommend!
