NEW YORK – Jay Suites is expanding once again as it officially becomes the largest executive office suites provider in Times Square. Jay Suites has steadily built a name for itself on the New York serviced office space scene but is building a stronghold in this Manhattan neighborhood.
The alternative workspace provider recently announced the expansion of an existing Times Square office space facility. Specifically, the company leased the third floor of 1441 Broadway. Jay Suites already leases the fifth floor of the building. The move doubles the executive office suites provider’s presence in the building and makes it the largest serviced office space brand in Times Square.
Jay Suites is taking down about 22,000 square feet of additional office space at 1441 Broadway. In line with its other locations, the facility will sport modern décor, marked by glass and steel doors, marble floors, and venetian plaster walls. What’s more, the reception area will feature a flat-screen HDTVs, a 20-person boardroom with an oversized meeting table, ergonomic leather chairs and state-of-the-art technical equipment, an additional six-person meeting room, a hotspot area, and a fully-equipped café-style break room stocked with kitchen appliances.
“This growth is very exciting to us,” says Juda Srour, president of Jay Suites. “It must mean we’re doing something right, and God willing we can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”
Srour hand picks each new office space center location. He looks for locations that are close to key transportation, shopping and dining spots, as well as the area’s prestige and relevance to business. Srour has already picked out the Manhattan executive office suites provider’s next two locations. One is on 34th Street, across the street from the Empire State Building. The other is in the Chelsea neighborhood, in the heart of Manhattan’s Fashion District.
For its part, 1441 Broadway is a class A, dual-entrance building on the corner of 41st street. When Jay Suites first opened its center in the building’s fifth floor in 2012, the 76 office suites in the space were leased up quickly. Preleasing of the new floor, which begun just a few weeks ago, is also leasing up fast. In fact, Jay Suites reports a growing waiting list that resembles an impressive company roster, with high-profile clients including the Daily News as well as other companies in the technology and creative fields.
Launched in 2007 by brothers Jack and Juda Srour, Jay Suites is on pace to have seven executive office suites in Manhattan open by the end of 2013. The company credits several factors with its rapid expansion: It operates in a hot real estate sector that’s experiencing strong business demand in New York City; an innovative style, old-fashioned commitment to personal customer service; an all-inclusive pricing style; and decades of experience.
