Executive Studios Office Suites Goes Global
Published April 3rd, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
Even as the dust settles on the G20 and new hope emerges for an end to the global recession, Executive Studios Office Suites + Virtual Services is reaching across U.S. borders to attract international businessmen to its facilities.
Looking for office space in Longmont, CO
The Longmont, Colorado executive office suites company inked a deal with Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN) to offer its clients office space and business solutions at more than 600 locations in 36 countries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
By joining forces with ABCN, Executive Studios expands its ability to give its customers access to conference rooms, daily or monthly office rental, training or presentation facilities and business services. Executive Studios Office also becomes part of a network that could drive temporary office clients to its own facility.
“When we opened last October, prospective members were extremely impressed with our local facility, but the one question we often got was if we had offices in other locations,” says Josh Paterson, co-founder of Executive Studios Office Suites + Virtual Services. “By affiliating with ABCN, we now can confidently and proudly say that we have executive office space available from Denver to Denmark…and everywhere in between. It’s a cost-effective, time-saving way for our members to manage multiple office locations and conduct business travel.”
Demanding On-Demand Officing
The Executive Studios-ABCN alliance works like this: Executive Studios members that need temporary office space in another city or country dial up the Longmont office (Longmont is a Denver suburb) and put in a request. The Executive Studios team takes it from there, handling all the logistics of reserving the needed space, making sure the facility offers any amenities the client requires.
The partnership is another example of the demand for on-demand officing and the executive office industry’s move to offer it through strategic alliances. We’ve seen companies in the New York area partner on similar initiatives on a smaller scale.
Here’s why: Fewer companies are willing to commit to long-term leases in a volatile real estate and business environment. At the same time, many traveling businessmen need a secure office with premium services no matter where they go. With the serviced office model, staffing challenges are abated with on-demand reception and administrative offerings at a much lower cost than hiring a full-time employee. Partnering with other serviced office providers, or in this case a network, is a customer service play that clients appreciate.
Executive Studios Homefront
Executive Studios is thriving on the homefront. The serviced office center is located four miles west of Interstate 25 at Highway 119 and 3rd Avenue just southeast of Fox Hill Country Club. The company offers furnished luxury office suites packaged with shared facilities and services. Like most of its executive office suites counterparts across the world, the facilities include presentation-ready conference rooms, a full kitchen, a copy center, mail center, guest lobby, restrooms and shower facilities.
Shared services include a receptionist, IT solutions, photocopies, mail handling and meeting coordination. Those who do not need designated office space but want on-demand access to the facilities and services can sign up as a virtual member of Executive Studios. Executive office lease starts at $413 per month and is offered on a month-to-month basis. Virtual memberships start at $100 per month.
“We’ve found that many companies are being forced to downsize their office space and staff but they are fearful of the implications it will have on its corporate image,” says Paterson. “Executive Studios offers a way to disguise a downsize by offering professional services and first-class office space at our flagship location and our affiliate locations around the world.”

I like this approach. I am not sure how many Longmont entrepreneurs will actually need to leverage serviced office space in another city. But it’s nice to have the option. I think anything you can do to provide better customer service to your target audience is a winner.
