eEmerge Offers On-Demand Office Space in Manhattan

Have your business up and running. Yesterday. That’s the promise of eEmerge, an executive suites company with two serviced office facilities in New York.

eEmerge offers office space at 440 9th Avenue and 28 West 44th Street. The company bills the 9th Street location as ideal for film and TV production companies, new media and publishing companies, start-ups and small businesses. The 60,000-square-foot Manhattan serviced office facility offers floorplans that can accommodate from one to 100 employees.

The 44th Street location targets an altogether different audience, including attorneys, accountants, financial services firms, recruiters and consultants. This building features high floors, views of the Chrysler and Met Life buildings, Grand Central locale, and on-site office concierge service.

One of eEmerge’s value propositions is its business services that aim to help companies hit the ground running, maximize effectiveness as a tenant, and even make a smooth transition to the next office space when the time comes. Tenants get a direct telephone number with a “212″ area code that’s set up before the company arrives so forwarding existing numbers is hassle-free. Clients with unique network configurations or telecommunication requirements are accommodated before move-in as well.

eEmerge even offers temporary staffing assistance, secretarial and administrative services, discounts on PC rentals and purchases, office supply ordering, conference and event planning, and a host of other amenities.

Whether you are looking for a team-building environment or total privacy, eEmerge has a variety of office space options. I rate this company as one to check out if you are looking for office space in Manhattan, and so does Joan Cusak of Goodnite Productions: “eEmerge’s facility is centrally located in Midtown South and it offers an upbeat, creative atmosphere, conducive to the kind of work we do, and it’s a bonus that many of the co-tenants are in the same industry.”

I think it’s interesting how targeted this company is. They are clearly located in specific areas of Manhattan where filmakers, attorneys, etc., are looking for office space. This is a great way do niche marketing. They are probably built out for the special needs of these groups. I hadn’t ever heard fo eEmerge before, but I bet they will emerge as a strong competitor in the New York market, especially among these target audiences.

What I found interesting about eEmerge is they aren’t just focusing on entrepreneurs. They can accommodate up to 100 people, probably in concurrent office space. I am sure they aren’t the only ones that promote that opportunity in the serviced office industry, but with creative types and attorneys this would seem to be a great tack to take.
