Davinci Virtual, Avanta Post Growth in Global Office Markets
Published May 12th, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
Plenty of news on the international front today as Davinci Virtual and Avanta post strong performances in foreign markets. Both firms are demonstrating that companies around the world are embracing the concepts of virtual offices and serviced offices.
For its part, Davinci Virtual added 22 partner center locations throughout Western Europe and the Middle East. Specifically, the new locations expand Davinci Virtual’s virtual office offerings into Germany, The Netherlands and Dubai.
As Davinci Virtual describes it, the virtual office concept delivers a full package of services and the facilities of a “real” serviced office, without the hassles and demands of leasing full-time office space or hiring an in-house receptionist. The company offers business addresses in more than 600 business addresses around the world.
“We are very excited to welcome the new virtual office locations to our preferred partner center network,” said Bill Grodnik, president and CEO of Davinci Virtual. “Davinci Virtual’s continued additions of prime office locations all over the world enable us to offer our customers a greater selection of virtual office solutions in international countries and cities.”
Meanwhile, Avanta is reporting growth in its business despite the down economy. Avanta’s facilities at New Delhi and Mumbai have seen a healthy jump in bookings in the last two months. Avanta offers two reasons: some companies are looking for alternatives to traditional office leases and others are looking to avoid heavy upfront investments.
“Corporates have realized that a serviced office definitely has an edge over its traditional counterpart, mainly in today’s scenario where companies are avoiding heavy investments,” says David Kinnaird, Avanta’s Group Operations Director.
“Our offices come with clear advantages in terms of excellent location, Grade A buildings, flexibility to move in and out, fit outs and maintenance. This allows our customers to concentrate on their business while we take care of everything else related to their office space requirements. Also, Avanta’s all inclusive clear, transparent business service package has been well accepted by all our clients.”
Avanta opened its first serviced office space in India in September 2008. The company is now looking at opening more facilities in Mumbai and Delhi and is in talks with developers at prime locations. In Mumbai, Avanta is looking for space in Lower Parel and Andheri, for example.

Great roundup! I think this story illustrates the global trend for serviced offices and virtual offices really well. Interestingly, Regus is not included. Is that because the company isn’t growing as fast in the international executive office suites industry or just because there haven’t been any very recent announcements?

When it comes to executive office suites, Avanta seems to be growing as fast in Asia as Regus is in the United States. I am guessing they compete head to head in Europe. Serviced offices are more popular there than they are here in the United States. Does Avanta have any locations in the U.S.?

A virtual office is an ideal solution for start-up businesses who wishes to keep costs down. It’s especially relevant in today’s business scenario. So whether you work from home, plan to enter a new market or could simply do with a high profile business address, virtual office will provide you the perfect low investment solution. I am also running a small business using this facility by valleyhq I am very satisfied and feel like I am able to increase my business now.

Hi Elizabeth – Avanta does not yet have any serviced offices in the United States. Avanta operates widely through India and the United Kingdom. Avanta does have some ties to the U.S. through its subsidiaries. So I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Avanta eventually expanding to large U.S. cities like New York, Dallas or Seattle. But I think right now the company has its hands full with its Asia expansion plans.

It’s good to see the successes of the serviced office and virtual office stars. Avanta and Davinci Virtual are definitely among the leaders. If I were a start-up in the executive office suites industry, I’d be studying how these companies do it. After all, they weren’t always such large firms.

It’s interesting to me that Avanta is seeing such a big welcome in India. I didn’t realize there was such a demand for serviced office space there. I wonder if Avanta is an early mover in the regard, or if there is a slew of smaller executive office suites providers there.
