Corporate Office Centers Opens Atlanta Executive Suites
Published April 6th, 2010 by Jennifer LeClaire
Atlanta is welcoming its newest business center to the scene. Corporate Office Centers is taking up residence in the Lenox Building this month. The Arlington, Texas-based serviced office player now has 32 locations, making it one of the largest independent operators in the nation.
The Corporate Office Centers picked a prime spot in the Upper Buckhead section of Atlanta to open its latest facility. The 20-story, Class A building offers gorgeous views of the Atlanta skyline and is known for its energy efficiency, something that’s becoming more and more important to executive office space clients.
“The Lenox Building is a first class property and will complement our Atlanta portfolio,” says Thad Pittman, president of Corporate Office Centers. “Our centers are in key buildings and locations in the greater Atlanta area and each offer true value-add services to clients looking for options to traditional office space.”
An Atlanta Office Hot Spot
If location, location and location really does matter (and of course we know it does), Corporate Office Centers gets another brownie point. The new business center is located next to the Lenox Square Mall. The office building also offers direct access to MARTA and Phipps Plaza, the Marriott Hotel and plenty of other amenities within walking distance.
Corporate Office Centers is positioning its Class A Lenox Building business center as an ideal office setting for start-ups, established small businesses, entrepreneurs, corporate regional offices and workgroups. I would agree. If you haven’t been to Atlanta, believe me, this is a sweet spot for office space.
Like most of its area competitors, Corporate Office Centers offers fully furnished office space, conference room facilities, business services, modern telephone equipment, high-speed Internet connectivity and more. The serviced office provider also offers IT specialists and administrative services on-demand.
Flexible Atlanta Office Space
“When a side-by-side comparison of office business centers and traditional office space is done based on the number of occupants, term and actual square footage needed, the business center often is the better choice because less capital is expended and the real estate is not considered a liability on the balance sheet when compared to longer term traditional leases,” Pittman says.
Corporate Office Centers offers flexible terms. You can even rent an office space in Atlanta for just one month. The company also offers virtual office space with a prestigious Atlanta address, part-time offices, and meeting rooms. As Pittman sees it, Corporate Office Centers offers rates and services that are competitive with both traditional office spaces and other executive suites providers in the region.
“We have clients who have been with us for 15 years and others who are with us for only a few months,” Pittman says. “We can meet the exact office space needs of our clients and provide them with business support services at a fraction of the cost of space, employees, furniture, fixtures and equipment that are typically required under traditional office space conditions.”

Corporate Office Centers is a strong brand. It’s good to see them opening new office space in Atlanta. I’m sure it will be well received. Atlanta must be one of the most competitive southern cities for serviced office space. It seems there is a lot of focus there from all the national providers, including Regus. Good luck to Corporate Office Centers.

Does anybody know what the deal is on renting the office space in Atlanta for just one month? I would think the cost would be a little prohibitive unless they waive the set up fees. The again, when you need a temporary office space, you need a temporary office space. And when the alternative is signing a long-term lease, I suppose whatever set up fees you have to pay to accomplish your short-term mission is probably worth it.

BIG WASTE OF MY TIME
******************************
I signed an agreement there in February and truly regret it. They took a substantial deposit with huge setup fees two months in advance and still did not deliver the space on time. I’ve tried for two weeks to work with them on a refund per the agreement. Carrie Tegeder claims she cannot resolve the issue even though she is General Manager and could take my money no problem. Her manager never responds to phone calls or emails even when we had scheduled a conference call. I’m getting a total runaround.
At this point it seems I will be taking them to court. I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Far from saving me headaches they were a big waste of my time — the most precious commodities for any business, especially a startup.
P.S. There is huge inventory of space in Atlanta. You can easily negotiate with anyone. I was a fool to go here and pay full price.

I am happy to say that I have had a wonderful working relationship with Corporate Office Centers. I signed an rental agreement in Feb for an office space in the Lenox Building. The location is great, the people with Corporate Office Centers are helpful and friendly. I had meetings schedule with clients in March and April and I was allowed to utilize office space in other Corporate Office Centers locations in the city until the Lenox building was ready for occupancy in mid April. Everyone from Quinn, to Joe, to Benita, to Shauanna have been very helpful. But the one person that has really gone above and beyond the call of duty has been Carrie Tageder. She has kept me informed on every aspect of the office opening process. She is professional yet has a very warm and friendly personality and she really cares about her clients. And to top it all off, she makes the best cup of coffee in the city. I would recommend Corporate Office Space to anyone looking for a top notch property management company to rent office space from. You can’t go wrong as it relates to location, people and value. All the best. Stan Gay, Sports Mangement World Wide.
