Corporate Office Centers Heads to Boca Raton
Published June 17th, 2009 by Jennifer LeClaire
One of the nation’s largest executive office business center operators has moved into my neck of the woods. A warm welcome to Corporate Office Centers’ 28th national location – and its first Florida location. I’m glad to see this well-respected brand make a splash down in South Florida.
Corporate Office Centers’ latest business center is in Boca Raton. The company is making its home in the Royal Palm center. Very appropriate for South Florida. The Royal Palm Center, a Class A center with Mediterranean-style architecture, is strategically positioned at 595 South Federal Highway in Boca Raton’s Financial District.
Entrepreneurs and small businesses can immediately take occupancy of a serviced office with flexible terms at a fraction of the cost of traditional office space. Furnished and unfurnished offices are available and phone, high-speed Internet services and conference rooms are waiting to host client and company meetings. If that’s not enough, the occupants will enjoy penthouse views of the ocean, the golf course and downtown Boca from a perch on the top floor of the building.
“The Royal Palm center propels us into the next phase of our growth initiatives. We are pleased to be able to offer offices and services from the west coast to the eastern seaboard,” says Corporate Office Centers President Thad Pittman. “Each of our 28 locations is in strategically chosen markets and our Boca Raton center is no exception.”
Flexible South Florida Luxury
For those of you who aren’t locals – and that’s probably most of you – Boca is about halfway between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach and it’s got its place among the luxury cities of South Florida. The building in which Corporate Office Centers has taken up residence includes an upscale café, a bank with drive-thru service, covered parking and optional valet parking. Mizner Park is minutes away, providing plenty of fine shopping and restaurants.
When it’s time to get down to business, Corporate Office Centers offers Information Technology and administrative services on an as needed basis. That eliminates the need for part- or full-time employees, employee taxes and benefits, and human resource issues. It’s an ideal solution for companies in a down economy looking to accommodate the fluctuations in business without hiring new staff.
Corporate Office Centers also offers Virtual Office plans. A professional address, phone answering and conference room access can be customized to meet the needs of a business’ development plan. Of course, virtual offices cost much less than their serviced office counterparts – but you don’t get the ocean views.
Corporate Office Centers is 17 years old and has proven it’s a serviced office brand you can trust. Pittman is confident that the Boca Raton location will be the start of a new era for the company: “Clearly, the table is set for Corporate Office Centers to continue on its steady path of growth and commitment to offer exceptional office space and services at a great value.”

Sounds pretty fancy for a serviced office. I guess it is a myth that there are no luxury serviced offices. I can’t account for the inside, but the photos of the building that Corporate Office Centers is moving into is definitely upscale and that Mizner Park is clearly for the affluent consumer. What a neighborhood!

I’ve been to Mizner Park. It’s a great place to eat, shop, see cultural events, etc. This is a great location for small business owners and others who need to cater to more affluent customers. I could see law firms moving into a neighborhood like that, as well as insurance companies and other professional service firms. This serviced office is in the heart of Boca Raton’s financial district. A great location for sure.

Does Corporate Office Centers always choose such high-profile locations for its executive office business suites? Is that part of the brand persona of this company? Just wondering. Boca — especially that part of Boca — is an area that most folks connect with the South Florida luxury lifestyle. Of course, there are plenty of areas that aren’t so luxurious, but there is a solid business community there that’s growing thanks to the emerging biotech area. Long-term, this is a great place for serviced offices to locate.

Don’t serviced offices usually come furnished? I don’t usually see them promoting unfurnished offices. I guess it’s just as easy for them to take out the furniture if you don’t need it. Maybe I’m dense. I just hadn’t seen too many in the executive office suites industry promoting unfurnished office space.

Sounds like a great place to invite clients for a meeting. You can use the conference room at Corporate Office Centers — even if you are a day office user — and then you can go have lunch at one of the fancy restaurants I see listed at Mizner Park. This is a great example of how location matters as much in the serviced office industry as it does in any other industry.
