Corporate Executive Offices Launches New Web Site

Regus isn’t the only serviced office company grabbing real estate this week. Corporate Executive Offices (CEO) is making a splash in the virtual real estate world with a brand spanking new Web site.
The Greenwich-based company just-announced CEOoffices.com. The company said the site design has been tailored to compliment its corporate image. What is the corporate image? Providing professionally-appointed executive office space with cutting-edge business and communications technology, a refined and friendly staff, and prime office locations in Greenwich and metro New York.
“For twenty years, CEO has been instrumental in responding to the changing needs of business professionals by providing executive offices equipped with a professional staff, a modern technical infrastructure complete with teleconferencing and videoconferencing capabilities, virtual office plans, conference rooms and 24/7 access without requiring a major capital commitment,” says CEO Principal Frank McBrearity. “Our new Web site will help illustrate our image to existing and future clients.”
I visited the Web site to take a look for myself if the design meets with the mission. The first thing that struck me is the bright colors. Not exactly what I expected for a corporate executive center – orange and teal. CEO posts its recent news prominently on the left hand block. That’s going to be a problem for the company since they don’t have much ‘recent news.’ Placing something else in that position would have been a better choice.
On the bright side (and I don’t mean colors), CEOoffices.com offers a fairly clean design with phone numbers clearly displayed in several places. It seems to be keyword optimized, and the copy on the home page focuses on plenty of benefits. There’s no video, but there is a photo gallery and a great audio podcast with the owner that’s worth listening to.
All in all, CEOoffices.com isn’t something to write home about. However, compared to most Web sites in the serviced office industry, this is a winner. There are far too many poorly-designed, poorly messaged Web sites in the executive office suites industry. From that perspective, CEOoffices.com stands out in a positive way.

I think the web site is pretty clean. At least they have one. I am surprised at how many serviced office space providers don’t even have one at all, or the one they do have is five years old and looks 10 years old. Corporate Executive Offices did a good job of explaining its value proposition. Nicely done.

I think the site looks good overall. I am not into those bright colors, either. Makes it look more like a coworking facility for hip young upstarts than an executive office space for professional business folk. It just doesn’t jibe. I haven’t seen the company’s official logo, though. Maybe those are their corporate colors, strange as that would be.

Jennifer – I think your screen colors are a bit off… I don’t see teal. I quite like the colors they use on the site. In fact the orange and blue are similar to aBetterOffice, except we use our orange more sparingly.
Otherwise I agree with both the good and not-as-good you mention here.
Hopefully, CEO has plans for the news section. And of course, we love it when executive suites pump out the news… it helps us here at aBetterOffice!
One thing I would recommend to every executive suite operator is to think like an ecommerce company when redesigning a Web site. If you were Amazon (for example), and trying to sell this product — the executive suite, what would you do? How would you describe it? What is critical and non-critical information? Where would you put the “Buy Now” button? And if you think the “Buy Now” button is not relevant… think again.
What’s your goal? Well… it probably to get them to call, or get them to submit a contact form. The phone or contact form is the equivalent of the “Buy Now”.
It’s a key that few operators are doing effectively and something I would like to have seen on this Web site.

I think CEOoffices.com is a pretty good looking Web site. It doesn’t look like the cookie cutter sites I see from some others in the serviced office industry. The only thing I’d really like to see is some video of the insides. The pictures are ok, but the video would be great.

I don’t like the bright colors either. I do agree that the colors are similar to this site, but the bright orange strip is blinding to me. But I do think it’s a nice-looking site overall. What I really do like about this site is the copy and the easy to navigate design. I think they did a fine job. Who am I to judge colors?
