Davincimeetingrooms.com Doubles Quarter-over-Quarter Revenue

We’ve been talking a lot about the market for office space in the last few days. I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the demand for meeting rooms.

Typically, entrepreneurs and road warriors rely on meeting rooms for important client meetings. Whether you are a small business owner who works from home and taps into virtual office technologies or a traveling exec who needs a place to offer a presentation, meeting rooms offer convenience at the right price.

Apparently, the market for meeting room rentals is fairly healthy. At least it is if you look at Davinci Virtual’s latest report. The virtual office leader just announced a 100 percent increase in revenues processed on its online meeting room reservation platform from the first to second quarters.

That online meeting room reservation platform is called DavinciMeetingRooms.com. Davinci Virtual has a couple of thoughts about how it doubled transactions and revenues in the second quarter: (1) by improving the meeting rooms Web site and (2) by adding plenty of new inventory. The good news for Davinci Virtual is that they can continue to make improvements to the Web site based on customer feedback, and it’s likely that they will continue adding new meeting rooms locations.

Indeed, with so much success under its belt, it won’t be hard to attract meeting room providers looking for new venues to market their meeting space. Davinci Virtual has already attracted more than 2,000 meeting spaces in more than 750 locations to its platform. I would expect the company to add another 50 in the next quarter.

In case you aren’t familiar with Davincimeetingrooms.com, this platform offers users advanced applications such as instantly available, live conference room inventory. You can custom configure your add-on services, including LCD projectors, Internet access, catering and business support services. It’s the quickest way I’ve found to book a meeting room.

“The increase in number of reservations and new user sign-ups has been incredible,” said Bill Grodnik, president and CEO of Davinci Virtual. “The newly designed version of our reservation Web site combined with our ever increasing conference room inventory has attracted new clients and increased usage for existing customers. Whether you need a virtual office in Atlanta, virtual offices in Chicago, New York City virtual offices, Los Angeles virtual offices, or meeting space anywhere in the world—Davinci offers the right space at the right price.”

Davinci is on a roll with its meeting rooms site. This is a natural extension of a virtual office and I’m not surprised it’s growing. Many entrepreneurs don’t have access to a conference room — unless they rent one. It’s sort of cheesy to ask your client if you can use their conference room. Being able to invite clients to your business address for the presentation is classy.

You said you expect Davinci Meeting Rooms to add 50 more facilities in the next quarter… is that based on past history or do you know something we don’t? With more than 750 locations already… I’m not sure how many more meeting rooms are actually available to partner with. Do you? In any case, Davinci does seem to be moving right along with its meeting rooms strategy.
