About Atlanta

Atlanta is the capital of Georgia and the largest city in the state. The Atlanta Metropolitan area has nearly 6 million people and is the biggest in the Southeast. Atlanta has the third largest quantity of Fortune 500 of any city in the US, only behind New York and Houston. This makes Atlanta a great executive office space market. It is home to Coca Cola, Home Depot and UPS, among many other large companies.

Atlanta is well-known for it’s urban sprawl, as about 5 million of its inhabitants live outside the City of Atlanta. Some of the significant areas within Atlanta include, Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead and Perimeter. Other nearby cities with significant office space markets include, Duluth, Norcross, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Roswell and Lawrenceville.
